After following her dreams of pursuing a career in travel and hospitality and joining the MCPR team in 2022, Bailey Athan serves as the agency’s Account Supervisor where she brings her high level of creativity and public relations skills to support marquee client campaigns such as revolutionary hop-on air carrier, JSX, Newport Beach’s 5-diamond The Resort at Pelican Hill, Santa Monica’s historic Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, and L.A.’s acclaimed Michelin-star restaurant, Providence. From ideating pop-culture-inspired partnerships to actively liaising with top-tier media, Bailey is actively moving the needle forward when it comes to communicating distinctive stories effectively and pushing client campaigns toward their goals.
In 2018, Bailey graduated with a B.A. in Journalism & Public Relations and a minor in Business from the University of Oregon, followed by three years in the entertainment industry, where she landed a position at one of the nation’s top talent public relations agencies. There, she worked closely with senior team members to effectively deliver results and contribute to high-profile clients’ strategic press campaigns across film, TV & theater, securing her clients placements in the likes of The New York Times, The Hollywood Reporter, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar and many others.
In her spare time, Bailey enjoys anything Bravo TV-related, enabling her shopping addiction with colorful shoes and handbags, and relaxing in the sun— whether that’s at the beach or L.A’s most vibey pools.
